Robert Morgan Education Center's theatre program is an extremely versatile one. It begins with the basics of acting, which will set a solid foundation of general knowledge including greek history, improvisation, areas of the stage, and more. In your second year, you will be apart of technical theatre. In this class, students will learn stage makeup techniques, lighting/sound design and execution, costume design and much more. Your junior year, you will be in Musical Theatre. In this class, you will be learning singing techniques, how to read music, different styles of dance, etc. Lastly, you will be expected to take acting. In this class, you will be taught many acting methods which will allow you to choose which one works best for you as an actor. You will also learn that"Acting is behaving truthfully under imaginary circumstances." - Sanford Meisner. An elective theatre class is also an option for students with a passion for acting who are apart of another magnet.

Troupe 6692 is a family. We support each other in everything we do and make everyone feel comfortable enough to express themselves using their craft. Our goals are to enhance the natural talents that our students have and to shape them into well-rounded thespians.
